The Opportunity
This is a key role responsible for managing site engineering services, driving performance, and ensuring health & safety is embedded in everything we do.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and passionate about continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supporting and working alongside the Engineering Manager to deliver site engineering objectives.
- Managing site buildings, plant, and equipment through proactive maintenance and asset‑care practices.
- Leading contractor management, permits to work, and ensuring safe systems of work are in place.
- Driving Engineering KPI performance across efficiency, quality, safety, and reliability measures.
- Leading and supporting Continuous Improvement and PIP initiatives across the site.
- Managing and developing Engineering Team Leaders and contributing to succession planning.
The Ideal Candidate

- Experience in a Site Service role within manufacturing (food desirable).
- Motivated, detail‑orientated and strong people skills – able to influence at all levels.
- Preferably BOAS trained (or willing to work towards this).
- A relevant Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Strong planning, problem‑solving and organisational capability.
- Confidence managing contractors, compliance standards, and engineering processes.
