This is the largest area for opportunities within the group including but not limited to Area Managers, Production Operatives, Skilled Operatives, Health & Safety and Hygiene and Continuous Improvement.

Our teams of Engineers keep the business moving safely. They look after our machinery and automation, as well as looking after a wider range of site services and our building fabric. We have Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Site Services roles at all of our production sites.

Technical

Food safety and technical expertise around quality and compliance are based within our Technical teams. They are highly valued and we need them to make sure that we keep our high standards and quality. Whether this is advising on nutritional elements, conducting food trials, working in the lab or working with commercial on the development of new products, this area contributes towards the life cycle of our high-quality products. Roles that fall into this function are Quality Auditors, Process Technologists, Specification Technologists, Compliance, Raw Materials and Laboratory Technicians.

Our People Teams support and allow our colleagues to flourish. Typically, each site has its own People Team typically consisting of People Advisors, Reception, and Learning and Development. Our group roles also include Learning & Development, Payroll, HR Systems and Resourcing to name a few. They help to improve performance through people, support progression and development, support attraction and selection, and ensure that you are greeted and welcomed at our sites as well as making sure that all our 10,000+ colleagues get paid!

Procurement ensures the right products, services, and supplies are procured at the best price and with both measurable and target driven levels of service. They have their finger on the pulse and work with our Bakeries, Suppliers and Customers to accelerate financial delivery, protect the business from risk and transform supplier led innovation. Finance

Our Finance teams partner with their site operations teams to ensure that we look after our spend and cash flow to keep our performance as a business strong and provide security to our colleagues and capacity for future investment in our sites. Finance is responsible for providing financial and analytical support and insight to aid the business in making well informed decisions relating to future growth and profitability. We also have a shared service centre who keep us on track with payments and invoicing. In the Finance function you will find roles such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Financial and Management Accountants, Finance Managers and Analysts.

The Supply Chain functions are here to make sure that we get our raw materials in and that we can transport our finished goods out at a fast pace as our products are perishable. They work with operations on daily production planning and work across sites to transport goods within the group and externally to our customers.
