About The Role

As Continuous Improvement Engineer, you’ll focus on making our manufacturing processes safer, more reliable and more efficient. Using data, observation and hands‑on engineering insight, you’ll identify root causes, remove waste and improve performance across production and site services.

This role plays a key part in reducing downtime, improving asset reliability and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operations.
  • Analyse performance data to reduce breakdowns, losses and inefficiencies.
  • Investigate recurring issues and implement long‑term, sustainable fixes.
  • Improve reliability, downtime, waste and yield through structured problem solving.
  • Use CI tools and techniques to drive measurable improvements.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Hygiene and CI teams.
  • Standardise best practice and embed improved ways of working.
  • Track benefits and ensure improvements are sustained over time.
  • Contribute to capital projects and equipment optimisation where required.
About You

  • You will have an engineering background within FMCG or similar environments and will hold a relevant Engineering qualification.
  • Bringing experience of driving continuous improvement or reliability initiatives.
  • Being confident in using data to identify problems and measure impact.
  • With a structured approach to root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • You will have the ability to work hands‑on while thinking system‑wide.
  • With clear communication skills and confidence influencing across teams.
  • You will have a proactive mindset, with ownership of improvements from idea to delivery.
  • And will also have a commitment to safety, quality and doing things the right way.
