Warehouse Team Leader

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll take day‑to‑day responsibility for people, performance and safe working within your area of the warehouse. You’ll create clear direction on shift, keep activity flowing, and make sure standards are met across safety, quality and productivity.

This role suits someone who enjoys setting a positive example, building confidence in others and keeping tasks running smoothly in a fast‑paced setting.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Manage a team of warehouse colleagues on shift, setting clear priorities
• Maintain safe, clean and organised working areas at all times
• Drive productivity, accuracy and service levels across the warehouse
• Allocate labour to meet daily and weekly plans
• Monitor performance and address issues as they arise
• Carry out briefings, one‑to‑ones and regular communication with the team
• Ensure stock is handled, stored and moved in line with procedures
• Uphold food safety, quality and site standards
• Work closely with other teams
• Step in across the wider warehouse team during peak periods to keep activity moving
