About The Role

As a Social Media Manager, you’ll take the lead on how our Ginsters brand shows up online. You’ll create engaging content, manage our social channels, and use insight and data to help us connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Brand, and the wider business. You will help bring our stories to life — protecting our reputation while making our content relevant, creative, and impactful.

We are flexible on location as long as you are able to travel regularly to Plymouth and Cornwall to capture content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage social media channels across Ginsters
  • Create, plan, and deliver engaging content that reflects our brands and values
  • Use data and insights to track performance and continuously improve results
  • Manage social media calendars and respond to trends in a timely way
  • Work closely with Brand, Marketing, PR, and other teams to support campaigns
  • Help protect and enhance brand reputation through thoughtful community management
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and governance standards
  • Support the wider team during busy periods or when extra help is needed
About You

  • You must have experience managing social media channels (in-house or agency) and related analytics tools
  • Experience of a similar role for a branded business would be an advantage
  • Bringing strong communication skills and a great eye for engaging content
  • With a creative mindset balanced with attention to detail
  • You will be proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to take ownership
  • You will have a strong focus on quality, brand consistency, and audience engagement
