What You'll Do

As a Commercial Manager, you'll be at the heart of our team, playing a key role in managing and growing our relationship with one of the UK's leading retailers, Tesco. 

  • Manage the Tesco account, building strong relationships and developing sales opportunities
  • Support and lead negotiations, ensuring alignment between Tesco’s strategy and Samworth Brothers’ commercial objectives
  • Work with colleagues to ensure that viable products are developed that will deliver for the consumer and customer whilst meeting or exceeding Samworth Brothers Financial Requirements
  • Develop robust sales forecasts to deliver industry leading service levels
  • Review and report on the success of each launch or promotion to learn lessons and feed into future activity
  • Coach and develop other team members to enable them to learn from your experience
Travel required to Tesco Head Office - AL7 1TW 

What you will need

There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Commercial Manager role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:
  • Experience of working within Food & Drink with major retailer experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Able to make lead persuasive negotiations with data and influencing skills
  • Relevant qualification or experience within Commercial roles
  • Experience of relationship building and delivery of presentations
