The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Hygiene Area Manager to lead hygiene operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining exceptional hygiene standards across the site, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Lead and manage hygiene teams to deliver high standards across all production and peripheral areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and GMP standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective KPI management and root cause analysis.
- Oversee daily deep cleans and ensure CICs are met consistently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Technical, Engineering, and Planning.
The Ideal Candidate

- Minimum 2 years’ hygiene management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate/Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3/4) and NVQ Level III or above.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
- High level of competence in hygiene systems and root cause analysis.
- Resilient, adaptable, and confident in managing audits and customer-facing interactions.
