The Opportunity
The Production Area Manager oversees multiple teams across a production shift, ensuring production plans are executed efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards. This role is accountable for up to 12 production lines and 80 colleagues, requiring strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership & Management: Champion company values, lead by example, support change, and drive continuous improvement.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, promote responsible behavior, and contribute to sustainability goals.
- Food Safety & Quality: Own food safety in the area, ensure SOPs are followed, and collaborate on process improvements.
- Production Operations: Deliver production plans, manage resources, maintain audit readiness, and lead CI initiatives.
- People Management: Handle recruitment, training, performance management, and foster a positive team culture.
- Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication across teams and departments.
