What You'll Do

We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong Financial Accountant to lead on ledger control, VAT, intercompany, and fixed assets for a subset of our businesses. Based in our Callington office, you’ll be a vital part of our General Ledger team, ensuring financial compliance and supporting continuous improvement projects.

• Lead the month-end close process across multiple finance areas
• Prepare & review VAT returns and support wider tax compliance
• Forecast and reconcile group intercompany positions
• Manage fixed asset registers and conduct annual verifications
• Prepare GRNI & balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with auditors, support regulatory returns, and guide junior team members

What you will need

There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Financial Accountant role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:

• AAT Level 4 qualification (or higher)
• Experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organisation
•  Strong Excel skills and ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365
• A drive for accuracy, collaboration, and improvement
