The Opportunity
Are you passionate about data and how it shapes business decisions? Do you enjoy diving into insights that drive commercial growth? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for a Category Analyst to join our dynamic Meals Category team. In this pivotal role, you'll provide critical data and analytical support that informs commercial strategies for Samworth Brothers and our retail partners. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights using PowerBI and market data tools, helping us shape the future of food.
- Manage and enhance our meals market data model in PowerBI
- Integrate and code new product data from multiple external sources
- Deliver regular insights and ad hoc analysis to support category decisions
- Collaborate across teams to validate commercial strategies with data
- Help drive innovation by exploring AI and new analytics tools
The Ideal Candidate

- Solid experience with PowerBI and DAX
- Strong analytical mindset – curious, inquisitive, and detail-focused
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Organised, flexible, and eager to contribute
- Ideally, 2+ years in a similar role with knowledge of Python, SQL, or food industry data (e.g., Kantar, IRI)
