Here at Samworth Brothers we are proud to offer our Site Services Engineer Apprenticeship to give you a great springboard to start your career in the food industry. Working with our trusted learning partners we can give you a springboard into your career as an Engineer. You will be gaining a recognised qualification, and the apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to put in what you’ve learnt at college back into practice in the workplace. Through the apprenticeship you will be given invaluable support and insight from the highly skilled engineering teams around you.

Your Apprenticeship
We have an opportunity for a Site Services apprentice at our Manton Wood Site in Worksop.
No day is ever the same as you will be working on a variety tasks while gaining experience in site services engineering. Your day will include looking after the refrigeration systems, air handling, compressed air systems, steam systems, electrical systems, effluent systems, water systems and legionella controls carrying out both maintenance and fixes as needed.
We will pay you a competitive starting salary for your job role (much higher than the National Minimum Wage for apprentices) and we will also pay all costs and expenses for your qualification which may require block release.

- Be able to demonstrate an interest in engineering either through experience or a hobby/school interests
- Be confident, positive, and willing to learn
- The ability to work as a team member and possess good interpersonal, communication and literacy skills
- A minimum of 4 GCSE’s, or equivalent, at Grade A* to C (5-9) including English, Mathematics
- Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet the funding requirements for apprenticeships and Health and Safety requirements of the site.
