The Opportunity
Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm
As a Production Manager you will be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of the production to ensure optimum operational performance. You will be expected to identify, own and project manage process and KPI improvements as well as ensuring compliance with all Manufacturing and Health and Safety compliance requirements. As a key role within operations you will be expected to set a clear example of the Group competencies and values and will develop a talent pipeline within the areas under your remit.
- To provide clear direction on all aspects of production to constantly improve the efficiency of the site
- To ensure that the teams within operations are fully compliant with training, Health and Safety, Food Safety and all other Legal and Group requirements, staying fully up to date with any changes
- To take ownership of maintaining high quality products and to address issues of quality as quickly and effectively as possible.
- To closely monitor and manage labour planning and costs to hit agreed targets
- To closely monitor and manage materials to hit agreed targets including our Responsible business programme
- To meet all customer requirements relating to operations and to stay up to date with these requirements.
- To ensure that regular reviews of individuals and teams are carried out to promote continuous improvement and development and to identify and support our leaders of the future.
- To meet all production plans on time every time.

- Previous experience in a fast paced Food manufacturing FMCG Environment, emphasising customer Quality, Health & safety and continuous improvement of KPI’s
- Experience of taking products from concept to launch
- Experience of customer and external agency audits
- Evidence of hitting demanding labour and materials targets
- A clear, credible and resilient leadership style is required capable of enthusing the team
