As a Site Services Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's essential services and utilities, ensuring they operate safely, reliably, and efficiently to support production requirements. You'll carry out planned maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and repairs while working closely with the wider engineering and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections on site services equipment.
- Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and delivering effective first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Maintaining boilers, steam systems, and other utility plant across the site.
- Recording maintenance activities and inspections using the CMMS system.
- Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to enhance site performance and reliability.
- Ensuring all equipment subject to legislative compliance is maintained and certified in line with HSE requirements.
About You

- A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, Level 3 qualification, ONC, or equivalent.
- Experience operating and maintaining boiler systems.
- Experience working with steam systems.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business.
