As part of our Finance Shared Services team, you’ll play a key role in delivering timely and reliable financial information for a portfolio of Samworth Brothers businesses. If you enjoy taking ownership, building strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
- Lead month‑end management accounting tasks for assigned businesses, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and post journals including prepayments, accruals, and payroll.
- Produce monthly P&L and balance sheet reports, including reconciliations for relevant accounts.
- Calculate and coordinate intercompany recharges and contribute to budgeting and year‑end activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to Assistant Management Accountants when required.
About You

- AAT Level 4 qualification (or above), with interest in further professional development.
- Experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong Excel capability and good understanding of ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX/365 desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across Finance and Shared Services.
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a changing environment.
