The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic Warehouse Operations Manager to provide strong leadership, optimise operational efficiencies, and drive long‑term performance improvement across our warehouse function. You will play a key role in shaping a safety‑first culture, developing high‑performing teams, and ensuring our chilled food operation consistently meets customer and business expectations.

Lead and develop warehouse teams, ensuring effective coaching, performance management and a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with HSE, food safety (HACCP), and company standards.
- Drive operational excellence, identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance safety, productivity, reliability, and service delivery.
- Manage resources and budgets, ensuring labour, equipment, and materials are effectively planned and controlled to meet operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high service levels, resolve issues swiftly, and provide strong operational leadership—acting as escalation point and stepping in for the Warehouse Manager when required.

Proven experience managing health & safety and warehouse operations within a fast‑paced chilled or frozen food environment.
- Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
- Solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), operational processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- IOSH Managing Safely (or higher) and HACCP Level 2 certification.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and drive positive change.
