The Opportunity
As a Business Procurement Manager, you play a key role in supporting sites in Melton Mowbray and Aylesbury by delivering strong commercial outcomes, protecting the business from risk and building productive relationships with suppliers and internal teams. You guide category activity, support operational teams and ensure procurement delivers value, efficiency and continuous improvement. You will also lead and develop one team member.
Key Responsibilities :

Act as the lead procurement partner building strong relationships and being the point of escalation for procurement queries, supplier issues and cross functional alignment

Lead tenders, negotiations and supplier reviews to ensure best value, quality and service.

Own supplier relationships for your categories, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

Support delivery of business targets including purchase price variance, savings, value creation and waste reduction

Line manage and develop one team member, supporting capability building, coaching and clear objectives.
