The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly analytical and commercially aware Demand Planner to join our Planning team. In this role, you’ll create and maintain accurate demand forecasts, collaborate closely with Commercial and Retail partners, and play a key part in ensuring product availability, minimising waste, and supporting business performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working cross‑functionally, and turning data into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain short‑term demand forecasts (0–5 weeks) using Relex, incorporating sales updates, promotions and retailer intelligence.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing and retailer contacts to understand demand drivers and ensure accurate and aligned forecast plans.
- Review historical sales trends, analyse demand patterns, and evaluate forecast accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate planning for promotions, seasonal activity and NPD, ensuring accurate communication and KPI reporting.
- Work closely with Production Planning to communicate customer requirements and support planning, MRP, and holiday cover when required.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data or statistical analysis and advanced Excel capability.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence in customer‑facing discussions.
- Organised and detail‑driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately at pace.
- Experience in forecasting, planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable).
- Knowledge of planning systems such as Relex, Aurora/System 21, or machine‑learning forecasting tools (desirable).
