The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Process Manager to lead and coordinate all process development activities for Walkers Cooked Bacon & Snacking Site. This role is key to ensuring the successful launch of new and reformulated products, maintaining safety, quality, and legality at every stage. You’ll also provide technical cover and support validations where required, working closely with QA and other site functions.
- Manage all aspects of the NPD process from handover to launch, including reformulations.
- Lead process validations and ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP).
- Collaborate with QA, Operations, NPD, and Purchasing to deliver projects on time and to specification.
- Oversee changes to processes, equipment, or raw materials.
- Manage and develop the Process Development team, including training and performance.
- Act as deputy for the Technical Manager when required.

- Degree in a food-related subject or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical background with QA and process validation experience (thermal processing, chilled/short shelf life).
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Experience working with major retailers and customer portals (e.g., TTL).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable managing multiple projects.
