The Opportunity
Are you passionate about learning and development and ready to make a real impact? Based in our Academy, you’ll help create a thriving hub of learning, supporting managers and colleagues to reach their full potential. As our L&D Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Group L&D strategy and driving a culture of growth and engagement.
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and People teams on all L&D matters, providing guidance and support.
- Deliver and coordinate engaging training sessions, onboarding, and development programmes across the campus.
- Manage accurate L&D data and records to support compliance, audits, and informed decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external learning providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Represent Samworth Brothers at local events as part of our Tasty Careers strategy, promoting opportunities and building our employer brand.
The Ideal Candidate

- Level 3 Learning & Development qualification (CIPD or equivalent) and experience in an L&D or training role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to deliver impactful learning experiences.
- Excellent organisational skills for coordinating training events and managing resources effectively.
- Ability to influence and coach managers, fostering a culture of continuous development and high performance.
- Working knowledge of L&D systems and data management, with attention to detail and compliance standards.
