The Opportunity
In this role as Divisional Financial Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role within our finance leadership team. You'll champion a unified approach to financial control, embed robust reporting standards, and ensure strong governance across the division.
Your focus will span financial control, reporting, capital management, and team leadership. You’ll also act as the senior finance point of contact across our Food To Go sites – ensuring accurate insight, consistency, and challenge.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Lead financial governance across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Own monthly close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive working capital and cashflow improvements across the division
- Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with Group accounting standards
- Lead on MBR reporting, overhead insights, and cross-site financial visibility
- Provide oversight for capital project governance and fixed asset reporting
- Line manage the financial accounts team and capital/project accountants
A hybrid working model (site-based at Bradgate Bakery with home-working flexibility)
The Ideal Candidate

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Proven background in a senior finance role, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or multi-site operations
- Strong grasp of financial control, audit, and cashflow management
- Experienced in capital governance and leading multi-site reporting processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
