The Opportunity
Are you a seasoned Transport Manager with a passion for logistics, operational efficiency, driving change and leading people? This could be the right opportunity for you to manage the delivery of our high quality products to major retailers and smaller outlets across the UK.
As Transport Manager, you will be experienced in Chilled Food Distribution and will oversee our hubs in the Southwest (Bristol and Callington), managing our fleet of 31 Trucks and 46 trailers and our team of 66 Drivers and 12 Warehouse Operatives.

- You will be flexible: Willing to travel between Bristol, Callington and Leicester.
- You will hold a National CPC and have a solid knowledge of HGV and Driver compliance.
- You will hold a Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely.
- You will bring an understanding of Food Safety relating to short life chilled product and the chilled chain and hold a HACCP Level 3 qualification.
- As a confident leader with high moral values, you will motivate people in a positive way.
What you will be doing:
- You will have Operator License Responsibility: Be a named holder on the company’s operator license for Callington and Bristol, ensuring all legal and regulatory obligations are met.
- You will take responsibility for Product Safety and People Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to BRC standards and Health and Safety requirements.
- You will lead and develop the team of Shift Managers
- By liaising with our suppliers and customers you will manage stakeholders and Third parties
- You will track and report on KPIs, identifying trends and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- You will be responsible for cost management and budget control
