The Opportunity
Sunday - Thursday (Nights) 9pm - 5:30am
As our SHE Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the SHE Manager to drive safety, health, and environmental standards across our site. You’ll help ensure we meet legal obligations and maintain our high internal standards. From auditing and reporting to training support and emergency planning, your role will be varied, engaging, and crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and auditing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities.
- Provide guidance on safe practices and legal compliance.
- Support training initiatives, develop SOPs, and coordinate audits.
- Track and complete actions for site HSE plans.
- Liaise with contractors, training providers, and external stakeholders.
- Promote energy efficiency and environmental best practices.
The Ideal Candidate

- NEBOSH National General Certificate is essential. If you don’t already hold it, you must be working towards achieving it.
- Previous experience in HSE roles, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- A hands-on, action-oriented individual who is confident working independently on night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels.
- Strong IT proficiency – especially in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ISO14001, environmental permitting or packaging regulations is desirable.
