The Opportunity
This role is working 4 on 4 off on rotating days and nights shifts. 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00
In this role you will be a key member of the Operations Management Team reporting into the Production Manager. You will effectively manage the day to day operations of the plant, ensuring that efficient operations and performance are in line with HSE, GMP, quality standards and successful people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other line managers to build a values-based culture, delivering on the Culture Framework and ensuring that results are achieved with people at the heart of every decision.
- Ensure safety, health and environmental factors are well managed.
- Be responsible for food safety and quality issues in the area, and take decisive action when required to halt production activity if food safety is compromised.
- Ensure the production plan is followed in relation to quantity and schedule.
- Identify areas for improvement of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
