The Opportunity
In this role of Demand Planner you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement to the Demand Planning and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) agendas across Melton Foods.
- You will work in full collaboration with relevant functions, including (but not limited to) Commercial, Procurement, Planning, Finance & Technical
- You will work across all customers internally and externally to ensure the best possible operational forecasts are available to support the bakery.
- This will include all processes for NPD, EPD and Delisting products and ensures alignment with the site Concept to Launch (CTL) process
- You will create, publish, and own appropriate KPIs, documentation and training materials, and will serve as a central knowledge point for key stakeholders. It will also lead or support in projects enabling achievements of company objectives related to Lifecycle Management
- You will also manage Write Offs / Waste for the Supply Chain Function for all Lifecycle projects

- A strong proven background and experience in Supply Chain with specific life cycle management hands on experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven track record of presenting to a wide range of stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organization
- Extensive knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Intermediate/Advanced in Planning systems, Power BI, Excel
- Able to supervise team members directly and indirectly
- Works well under pressure
