At Samworth Brothers, our warehouse teams play a vital role in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives and take ownership of day-to-day activities within your area, helping deliver the warehouse plan while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives during your shift
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to deliver operational plans
- Monitor productivity, quality and service performance within your area
- Conduct team briefings and ensure effective communication across the team
- Manage day-to-day colleague activities, including attendance and timekeeping
- Support performance management and colleague development activities
- Ensure warehouse processes and procedures are followed consistently
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
- Monitor stock movements and support inventory accuracy
- Escalate operational issues promptly and support effective resolution

- You will have experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment
- Having previous experience of leading, coaching or coordinating colleagues

- Demonstrating that you have worked towards operational targets and performance measures
- You will be confident in using warehouse systems and Microsoft 365 applications
