As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will lead a team to keep our food production areas clean, safe, and ready for use. You will make sure cleaning tasks are done to the right standard and on time. You will support your team, check hygiene standards, and work closely with Production and other teams on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Hygiene Team during each shift.
- Plan and share cleaning tasks with the team
- Check production areas and equipment after cleaning
- Make sure cleaning schedules and records are completed
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with site rules
- Report hygiene, safety, or equipment issues to the right team
- Support deep cleans, changeovers, and planned shutdowns
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety rules at all times
About You

- Experience in food production or a hygiene role
- Experience of leading or supporting a team
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety
- Good attention to detail
- Level 3 Food Safety and/or HACCP Certificate would be an advantage
