The Opportunity
The Compliance Coordinator at Samworth Brothers will ensure facility operations align with internal policies, UK regulations, and health and safety standards. This role involves managing contractors, overseeing maintenance, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include contractor oversight, facilities management, risk assessments, and collaboration with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have IOSH/NEBOSH certification, experience in facilities or compliance management, and strong organizational and communication skills. This position is integral to fostering a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment, contributing to Samworth Brothers' commitment to quality and operational excellence.
- Contractor Management: Oversee on-site contractors, ensuring adherence to health & safety protocols and legal requirements.
- Compliance Oversight: Conduct routine audits, ensuring facility compliance with UK legislation, including Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH.
- Facilities Management: Support maintenance and improvements, ensuring all systems meet operational standards.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Perform risk assessments, incident investigations, and maintain health and safety certifications.
- Reporting: Maintain compliance records, prepare management reports, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between contractors, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
