The Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Run, monitor and improve the CMMS assigning work to engineers and contractors.
- Be responsible for leading the engineering shift team in the day-to-day activities, weekly engineering budget, ordering parts and arranging contractors.
- Your daily tasks will include attending production and downtime meetings liaising closely with the production managers.
- Monitor & maintain a high standard of work and actively look for new ways of proactively reducing equipment down time.
- Using the company OEE system you will interrogate the system to highlight downtime and produce a root cause analysis to put a long-term fix in place.

- City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of managing others in an FMCG environment including managing absence and performance
- Experience with the following would be an advantage: Fillers, Vacuum tray sealers, slicers, bowl choppers, boxing and packaging machines, xray, metal detectors.
- Experience of fault finding and diagnosis at a fast pace
- An ability to work on your own initiative and as a part of a team
