The Opportunity
In this role you will be a key member of the Operations Management Team reporting into the Factory Manager. You will effectively manage the day to day operations of the prep area to ensure that all key performance indicator targets are achieved whilst high levels of compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure fulfilment of customer orders and individual line performance whilst providing management experience to 10-13 line/area manager.
- Work collaboratively with other internal teams across departments to achieve site performance.
- Actively promote a health and safety culture within the department
- Have responsibility for all aspects of food safety and quality in the department.
- Identify changes in process or method that will lead to productivity improvement.

- Experience of managing a team of a minimum of 10 first line managers and indirect responsibility for circa 300+ indirect reports.
- Experience of working within food manufacturing at First Line Manager level or above for long enough to demonstrate a breadth of activity within the role.
- Financial/commercial awareness
- Experience of developing and managing people, reviewing efficient working and driving improvement.
