The Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for owning and managing the shift. You will empower the team and develop a high performing transport team that will focus on delivering the Transport Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all members of the transport team complete their tasks in an efficient and accurate manner.
- To manage the daily legal compliance of the transport operation ensuring that all relevant processes and procedures are followed
- Making sure that no defected kit leaves site through promoting daily vehicle checks, highlighting the dangers of PG9 defects
- To manage and maintain all information recorded on TMS traffic pad during the course of their shift
- Manage all transport team absence including RTW interviews, investigations and disciplinary procedures.
