In fact, half of our people have been with us for more than 5 years…and many a lot longer than that.

So what’s the job all about?
Our Raw Materials Technician roles at Samworth Brothers won’t hang about for long. That’s because the people who’ll apply for them are full of energy and lightning quick.
- Managing all aspects of internal and external incidences relating to raw materials, including daily spot checks vs specification and maintenance of the Focus list
- Working with Purchasing to investigate and resolve all raw material and packaging issues. Maintenance of TACCP spreadsheet
- Carrying out follow up visits to suppliers as required
- Working with Spec Technologists role – Risk assessing raw mat specs / assisting with Customer specs and Artwork: - the self-development part of the role:
- Risk Assessment of low-risk raw material specifications
- Maintenance of the Raw Materials database (Internal life / traceability)
- Maintenance of the New Raw Materials Stock control system (Aurora)
