The Opportunity
This role reports directly into the Category Finance Director, and forms part of the senior finance team for Food to Go (alongside Commercial and Projects) and will play a pivotal Leadership role in improving the performance of the FTG Category within Samworth Brothers.
- Lead 3 direct reports and a wider finance team of 16 in delivery of all reporting requirements for the Category - weekly, monthly, annual reporting
- Deliver the quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting process and own and deliver the 5-year financial model for FTG
- Challenge and support on materials, labour and overheads across 4-sites though monthly MBR and one-off processes. Drive consistent initiatives to improve where appropriate
- Support Category S&OP process including financial modelling
- Review Balance Sheets across 3 businesses and deliver bi-annual Group review for FTG
This is a hybrid opportunity with travel to our sites in Leicestershire and Worksop.

- Qualified accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- Have a background in a manufacturing and/or FMCG business
- Demonstrate the ability to influence others at all levels in the Group
- Have held a Finance Manager, Controller or Director role previously with demonstrable success
- Experience of leading and developing a team
