As a Machine Operative/Labeller you will be responsible for making sure products are labelled correctly and ready for the next stage of production. You will check labels, dates, codes, and product details. You will also make sure labelling equipment is set up and used safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply the correct labels to products and packaging
- Check labels, dates, codes, and product details
- Make sure labels are clear and in the correct place
- Check products against the production plan
- Set up and use labelling equipment safely
- Carry out start-up and routine label checks
- Check label quality throughout the shift
- Stop and report the line if a serious labelling issue is found
- Complete clear and accurate checks and records
- Keep products moving to meet production times
